'Writing is just playing a game, and all games have rules'
Take three cards and write a 'Form' (poem, prose, screenplay, news report, letter of complaint etc) onto one, a 'Subject' onto another and a 'Constraint' on the last one.
Place each onto a file marked 'Form', 'Subject' and 'Constraint'. After a quick shuffle, pick one 'Form', 'Subject' and 'Constraint' card at random. Write a piece featuring the 'Subject' and 'Constraint' within the chosen 'Form'.
