Our session with the Olivier winning playwright, theatre director and television writer, Jon Brittain at the Groucho Club in May 2026.
Jon directed the Olivier and Fringe First Award-winning stage production of Richard Gadd’s 'Baby Reindeer' for Francesca Moody Productions, where he continues to work as Creative Associate.
His critically acclaimed play 'Rotterdam' earned Jon a nomination for the Charles Wintour Award for Most Promising Playwright and an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre.
With comedian Matt Tedford, Jon co-created the cult hit drag musical 'Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho', along with its sequels 'Margaret Thatcher Queen of Game Shows' and the upcoming 'Margaret Thatcher Queen of Hollywood'.
For television, Jon was a staff writer on Series 3 and 4 of 'The Crown' (Netflix) and Season 2 of 'The Amazing World of Gumball' (Cartoon Network)
